Description

City Dog Jumping Up – From Bouncy to Polite

Jumping may be cute as a puppy, but it quickly becomes frustrating—especially in busy urban spaces or when greeting guests. This 2-session workshop is designed to help you teach your dog calmer, more polite ways to say hello.

You’ll learn why dogs jump, how to redirect that energy, and what to do when excitement takes over. With fun, clear strategies and real-world practice, your dog will learn to keep all four paws on the ground—whether you’re at home, on the sidewalk, or meeting new friends in the park.

Perfect for dogs of any age who get a little too excited at greeting time.

What you'll learn

Understand the root causes of jumping and learn calm, consistent ways to address it without confusion.

Train your dog to sit, wait, or offer alternative behaviors when meeting people—on leash, at home, or in public.

Build impulse control so your dog can keep four paws on the floor, even when guests, distractions, or energy levels are high.
